Acapulco ends the year with great festivities

 

The Trust for Tourism Promotion of Acapulco announced the completion of several events to attract visitors to the port for this new year ?

 

The Trust released a schedule that will conclude on December 29, which includes everything from classical to vernacular music, and sport fishing and soccer tournaments, plus Christmas-themed exhibitions.

 

The program, designed to offer alternatives for the whole family, includes an Air Show the first weekend of December as well as Acapulco?s Premier Cup, a soccer tournament for children and youth to be held from December 18 to the 23.

 

A Caroling Choir from the Autonomous University of Guerrero will be presented at Fort San Diego starting on the 19th, while the Culture House will inaugurate an exhibition on the 11th of nativity scenes.

 

Among the vernacular singers giving performances on different days there is Marco Antonio Solis, Joan Sebastian and Emmanuel.

 

On the last day of the year there are plans for a fireworks show to be presented at the Bay of Santa Lucia, to receive 2010.
