will receive International Tourism Fair
Mexico will host September of next year, the First International
Tourism Fair of the Americas (FITA), which is expected to receive 300,000
people from more than 70 countries. The
fair will take place September 23-26 in Mexico City. Authorities predict an economic income of $70
million dollars, 4,600 direct jobs and dozens of thousands of indirect jobs.
The fair will reunite wholesalers, tour operators,
transportation services, hoteliers, event organizers, official tourism
authorities, travel agencies, conventions offices and other members of the
sector.
FITA will take place in the Expobancomer Exposition Center in
the capital city and will occupy more than 322,000 square feet to exhibit
tourism offers from Mexico and other countries.
