Plácido Domingo to offer free concert at Mexico City´s Angel de Independencia

 

Tenor, Plácido Domingo, will offer a free concert at the foot of the Angel de la Independencia in Mexico City on December 19th at 20:30 hours. The singer will be accompanied by the Mexico City Filharmonic Orchestra, Mexico City?s Chorde and the Mexican Soprano?s Maria Alejandra Olivia Gorra & Eugenia Garza.

 

Mexico City?s Minister of Tourism, Alejandro Rosas, informed that over 150 thousand visitors are expected to attend the concert.

 

For this event, Avenida Reforma in it´s stretch from the Glorieta del Angel de la Independencia to the Palma will be conditioned in order to receive the public.

 

With the "Concierto del Ángel" Mexico City´s 2009 promotion is considered terminated.
