In December the construction for the Bicentennial Arch will begin announced Jose Manuel Villalpando, coordinator of the Bicentennial Federal Commission of Independence and of the Centennial Revolution.

The government representative explained that the grand quartz tower, which will measure more than 341 feet in height, will be placed in the Paseo of the Reforma, which is now in the final stages of the executive project development.

The Mexican architect Cesar Perez Becerril is in charge of the project, whose final destination will be determined by the Health Secretary and the Ariel Park, close to Avenida Paseo of the Refoma.

According to the coordinator of these historical gestures, during this month and through Christmas Eve, there will be a series of activities throughout different areas of the country to honor the celebrations for next year.
