Tourism Infrastructure expanded
During 2009, Jalisco received over 73
million pesos from the Federal Tourism Ministry for taking on 13 tourism
projects, the sum was matched by the state?s government in order to get a total
investment of 146 million pesos.
According to the local Tourism Ministry,
said investment has made the Sierra Tigre Tourist Passageway a possibility as
well as contributing to the rehabilitation of Chapala?s infrastructure and
maintenance.
Other projects possible thanks to these resources
is San Juan de los Lagos image maintenance and the regional development of thte
Tequila Route.
