Veracruz, Good Port!

 

The CEO of the Port Authority of Veracruz (APIV), Juan Ignacio Fernandez, said that Carnival Cruise Lines has an interest in developing a project cruise route, which includes Gulf ports like Veracruz.

 

He said the after Carnival learned some of the technical, logistics, tourism and promotion details of the project, they showed "great interest and hinted the possibility that next year they may schedule several cruise arrivals to Veracruz as part of this route ".

 

He said Veracruz stands out for its privileged geographical position, the variety and quality of tourism attractions, but above all for the quality and warmth of its people, to be able to compete in the cruise market along with other ports in the Gulf of Mexico.

 

He noted that together with the governments of the states of Tabasco and Yucatan, and providers of tourism services they will continue promoting the route of the Gulf of Mexico Cruises.
