Yecapixtla celebrates 15 years as a Unesco World Heritage Site

 

To mark the celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of being declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO, the Ex Convento de San Juan Bautista de Yecapixtla, Morelos, will be celebrated with a festival.

 

This is the ultimate relic that the people hold dear, who, to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of this naming, celebrated its third Cultural Festival, which concludes the same morning in the courtyard of the landmark building, with support from the local municipality, the Institute of Culture of Morelos and the National Council for Culture and the Arts (Conaculta).

 

Three days of artistic activity in which there will be classical music and live bands, dance, visual arts, literature, theater and a variety of children's workshops.
